December Dance Notes
We are coming to the end of our fall session and our production of The Nutcracker Ballet. I am so very excited to see everyone on stage performing!
Your Parent Portal has been updated to show the Spring 2025 schedule (you will no longer see the current schedule) so that those who will be continuing classes for spring 2025 may see their costumes and post their costume sizes. We will continue to follow the fall 2024 class schedule until our Christmas show is over. The spring schedule will start the week of January 6, 2025.
Your December Statement will show your December dance fees AND your costume fees for the Spring 2025 Recital, charges for those who have signed up for a Christmas video flashdrive, and a credit for those babysitting in the Christmas show. The costume fees for those who have added/dropped classes, as of today, has been adjusted. Your December fees will be: Monday thru Wednesday classes-2 weeks, Thursday & Friday classes - 1 week. Auto Pay will run December 1st and all charges will be withdrawn. All accounts must be paid in full prior to December 10th to participate in the Nutcracker show.
Mark Your Calendar:
November 29, 2024: deadline to Add/Drop classes for the spring 2025 session.
Click on Spring Show tab of the Studio website to see the spring schedule. Please look closely as some classes are on different days/times. Your child is pre-enrolled for this schedule, so if you are ok with these classes/days/times, you do not need to do anything. If you want to add or drop a class, please contact me via email during the dates noted above. DO NOT try to make changes on your Parent Portal. The
Spring Schedule is now posted to your Parent Portal.
November 26 - 29, 2024: studio closed for Thanksgiving break.
December 1, 2024: Spring 2025 costume fees due. Auto pay will include: December dance fees AND Spring 2025 costume fees.
December 6, 2024: Spring costume measurements due.
December 8, 2024: Spring costume order goes in to the Costume Companies
December 9th,10th,11th: we will have regular dance classes at the studio.
December 10, 2024: ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE PAID IN FULL TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CHRISTMAS SHOW.
December 12, 2024: Dress Rehearsal (costume/dance shoes) - Mandatory
Those in Act II Land of Sweets, 6:00 p.m., at the Granada Theatre.
No dance classes will be held at the studio.
December 13, 2024: Dress Rehearsal (costume/dance shoes) - Mandatory
Those in Act I Party Scene, 6:00 p.m. at the Granada Theatre.
No dance classes will be held at the studio.December 14, 2024: Dress Rehearsal (costume/dance shoes) - Mandatory
Those in Act I Dream/Battle/Pineforest, Snow Scene, 1:00 p.m. at the Granada Theatre.December 14, 2024: Christmas show "The Nutcracker Ballet". Students must arrive no later than

December 16, 2024 thru January 5, 2025: Studio closed for Christmas break.
January 6, 2025: Spring session starts this week using the Spring Schedule.
March 17 – 21, 2025: Studio Closed for Spring Break.
May 24, 2025: Spring Recital “Blast from the Past” 40th Anniversary, Emporia Granada Theatre.
The studio does NOT follow the school schedule except for Labor Day, Christmas Break, and Spring Break.

Christmas Show video flashdrive: a video of this year’s Christmas show will be available for purchase for $20.00. A sign up sheet is on the wall in the waiting room. My husband Darrell will be the videographer.
Dance Fees: Monthly statements are sent via separate e-mail. Please let me know ASAP if you do not receive your statement. Those on Auto Pay will still receive a statement showing what will be withdrawn on December 1st.
